Day 01 – Arrival / Chilaw

Our company representative will collect you from the airport on your arrival and bring you to Chilaw, a city situated few kilometers South of Puttalam. The city is cocooned in serenity with the mangrove lagoon and the azure waters of the Indian ocean. The soft sandy beach resort of Chilaw is the perfect start for your Sri Lankan journey.

Day 02 – Wilpatthu / Anuradhapura

Head down toWilpatthu, a city well known for its wildlife that is located 90km away from Chilaw. The wildlife found here is renowned all over the world. Once done inWilpatthuyou’ll be brought down to the ancient city of Anuradhapura. According to history this city is considered as the 1st capital of Sri Lanka and holds a great deal of value in Buddhism, culture and heritage.

  • Enjoy wildlife in Wilpatthu as you go on a private jeep safari.
  • Visit the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi which is considered as the oldest tree in the world.

Day 03 – Habarana

Habarana is a city located nearly midway betweencities suchDambulla, Sigiriya,Polonnaruwa,and Anuradhapura. This geographical advantage allows travelersto enjoy day trips to aforesaid cities with ease.Also, it is located near Minneriya National Park that is well known for elephant gatherings and other animals.

Day 04 – Sigiriya / Dambulla / Knuckles

Undoubtedly Sri Lanka is home to some of the finest andamazing man-made wonders from ancient Asia. On day 04 witness such a marvel, the Sigiriya rock. This UNESCO world heritage site is considered as the 8th wonder of the world.After Sigiriya you’ll be taken to visit the iconic cave temple in Dambulla showcasing some outstanding murals and Buddha images.

  • Climb to the top of Sigiriya rock and enjoy the panoramic view.
  • Visit the famous Dambulla cave temple and pay respect at the golden temple.

Day 05 – Knuckles

With over 1030 plant species, more than 128 bird species, 31 mammal species and 53 species of reptiles this vast mountain area with 5 major peaks, Knuckles is one of the most important conservation forests in all of South Asia. For all those who love nature and wants a break from the busy city lifestyle, Knuckles is the place to be.

  • Go cycling/ hiking/ trekkingthrough villages covered in terraced paddy fields and the dense jungle.
  • Enjoy the wonderful backdrops found in mini world’send.

Day 06 & 07 – Kandy

Kandy is a laid back city which is full of culture, heritage and religious value nestled away in the hill country of Sri Lanka. The sacred temple of the tooth relic which plays a major role in contributing Kandy to become a UNESCO world heritage site is a must visit. Kandy was the last Sinhalese kingdom until it was took over by the British after a long fought war in 1815.

Day 08 & 09 – Digana

Diganais located approximately 20 km away from Kandy. Be amazed by the surrounding of this gorgeouslittle village. The simplicity and the natural beauty here is truly breathtaking. Lately this destination has grabbed the attention of tourists as a family friendly getaway.

Day 10 – NuwaraEliya

With the introduction of tea to Sri Lanka during the mid 19th century NuwaraEliya has become the capital of the tea country in this tiny island. The city is surrounded by hills covered in mist and cascading waterfalls. This quaint townis also known as “Little England” for its cool weather and the scenery.

Day 11 – Horton Plains / Belihuloya

Welcome to the cloud forest of Horton Plains. The vegetation found here is unique and the chilly weather is something you should keep in mind when travelling here. You’ll feel as if it’s a scene out of a movie. Finish off the day in the beautiful city ofBelihuloya. The city is composed ofmany mountains, rivers, flora and fauna.

  • A short train trip through the highlands of Sri Lanka.

Day 12 & 13 – Negombo

To finish off your Sri Lankan journey we have arranged your final stay in the seaside town of Negombo. The golden sandy beachaccompanied by fun loving people and vibrant night life is truly a spectacular experience.Do not miss out to taste some of the mouthwatering seafood dishes and the black pepper pork curry which have helped to put Negombo on the culinary map of Sri Lanka.
