Sigiriya Rock Fortress
This iconic, colossal rock fortress was built in the 5th century BC by king Kasyapa with water gardens and mind-boggling irrigation system showcasing the engineering skills of the Sinhalese people from the past. The frescoes found here are world famous and the UNESCO has declared Sigiriya rock fortress as a World Heritage Site.
Dambulla Cave Temple
This well-preserved rock cave temple is home to some of the finest murals and Buddha statues that’s decorated by earth colors. There is a 30-minute climb to the top but it’s all worth it. The Golden temple is at the bottom of the rock cave temple hill which is also famous among the locals.
Hiriwaduna Village Tour
