The sacred city of Kandy which was known as Senkadagala in the past is a major tourist destination that’s nestled away in the central hills of Sri Lankan. The Kandy city goes down in the history books as the last Sinhalese kingdom ruled by the Sri Lankan kings which was captured by the British in the year 1815.

Kandy View Point
Kandy view point which is also known as Arthur’s Seat is a viewpoint that’s situated not far from the Kandy city.
